Beautifully Done. Effortlessly Served.
Utah Catering for Weddings
A full spread, chef-prepared, for weddings across Utah. Most run around 100 guests, we scale up or down without missing a beat.
Whether you’re the bride, the host, or the planner keeping the timeline, we make the food the easy part.
Reception Dinners
Every guest is fed well and on time, dietary needs included. One coordinator owns the timeline, and our team stays in the background so you can enjoy the night.
Wedding Luncheons
A warm midday menu that fits a shorter window and a smaller budget. Grandparents and kids are both happy, and the buffet line stays stocked from start to finish.
Cocktail Hour & Appetizers
Guests have something great in hand while you finish photos. Nobody is left waiting, and the reception starts on schedule with everyone already happy.
Wood-Fired Pizza
Wood-fired pizza cooked to order in front of your guests is one of several specialty options we can add. They make a wedding feel unique and give people something to talk about for years.
“From the start at the tasting we could tell they knew what they were doing. Megan was very responsive and helped answer all our questions throughout the process.”
“If you’re looking for outstanding food, excellent service, and a seamless experience, this is the company to call!”
“We had about 300 people and the food was hot and delicious for everyone. Every person involved including the servers and the food preparation team were fabulous.”
“They were very responsive via email and great to work with. Their pricing is great as well for the amount of food you get. Plus their food is delicious!”
“Thank you for everything! You were great to work with and made the day perfect in every way!”
“Loved all the dishes! So reasonably priced and delicious (: as someone who works in professional weddings I was so happy and impressed with their quality and service.”
“She fulfilled special and specific requests. The vegan cheeses and desserts were impressive, and our client was very happy.”
“Food was delicious and beautifully displayed. Servers were so helpful and everything went very well. Guests were all raving about the food.”

Reception Dinners
A chef-prepared buffet built around your reception: salad, fresh-baked rolls, two entrées, two sides, dessert and drinks, served on your timeline with setup and breakdown handled.
Choose two entrées from carved prime rib with au jus, butter chicken curry, tri-tip with chimichurri, coconut chorizo chicken, rosemary braised beef, or a vegetarian stuffed mushroom. Guests move through the line at their own pace, dietary needs get handled right there, and the room keeps its energy instead of waiting on a plated rotation. It is the format most of our couples ask for by name.
We plan around your guest count, not a fixed package. Most 53 Catering weddings run around 100 guests, though we have served plenty smaller and larger, and every reception gets the same standard: real food, fully staffed setup and breakdown, and a team that stays in the background so you can actually be at your own wedding.
Wedding Luncheons
A lighter midday menu built for a shorter window, wood-fired pizza, a lighter buffet, or appetizer-forward service.
One recent example: a son’s wedding luncheon where we served wood-fired pizza fresh off the oven alongside a crisp salad, warm breadsticks, and a full soda bar. Simple, memorable, and easy for a mixed crowd of grandparents and kids alike.
Luncheons are a natural fit for cultural hall receptions, family-focused celebrations, or any wedding where the couple wants something warm without the length or cost of a full evening event. We build around your guest list and your timeline.
“We loved working with 53 Catering! They provided wood-fired pizza, salad, breadsticks, and a soda bar at my son’s wedding luncheon and everybody loved it! They were also very friendly, helpful, courteous, and fastidious about keeping the buffet line stocked.” — Kathryn P.

Cocktail Hour & Appetizers
Guests have something great in hand from the moment they arrive, so the first hour feels planned instead of like waiting.
Small bites include honey sriracha meatballs, tortellini pesto skewers, bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms and beef Wellingtons, with gourmet options like shrimp cocktail, teriyaki beef skewers and soup shooters.
Add a charcuterie board with Creminelli meats, Beehive cheese, local honey, fresh and dried fruit, toasted nuts and crackers, a real spread, not a garnish. Serve it on its own for a lighter reception or ahead of a full dinner.
Wood-Fired Pizza & Other Specialty Menus
Cooked to order right in front of your guests, wood-fired pizza is one of several specialty options that make a wedding feel like yours.
Real fire, real dough, out of the oven in minutes. It’s one of our most requested add-ons because it’s fast, it works for every age group, and it turns into a moment instead of another food station.
It can headline a luncheon on its own or sit alongside a full buffet as a standout extra. Ask about gourmet sliders, burgers and more.
